Congrats to all those who have made our 2014/2015 Winter AAU teams.  Please find the rosters listed below. 

For those who have not made the team please do not feel discouraged. Please visit our website for updates on clinics and personal training to assure that you will be more prepared for tryouts next season. If your childs name is not listed and you believe it may have been a mistake please contact us immediately via email to iybball@gmail.com. If you have made a Blaze team and do not wish to play please let us know immediately. 

***Please be advised, in the next week several players will be joining these teams. Final team roster will not be listed until after the skills practice as many players will join and some players may opt not to participate.***

2-Day Teacher's Convention Offensive Camp

School's Out!!
Join IYB Basketball November 6 & 7th for this 2-day Offensive Skills Camp.

When: Thursday November 6th & Friday November 7th, 9am-3pm.
Where: St. Nicholas Church: 467 Grandview Avenue, Wyckoff NJ
How Much: $125 for both days, $75 for 1 day & 45 for a half day (9am-12 pm or 12pm-3pm)
What: Learn & Improve your offensive moves, dribbling, shooting skills & more.
Who: Girls & Boys grades 3-12. All skill levels

On Monday, June 30th, IYB's shooting skills camp opened up at the Most Blessed Sacrament School in Franlin Lakes, New Jersey. Middle schoolers, and soon-to-be high schoolers, gathered to learn from IYB's training staff on the proper fundamentals of basketball offense. Meet IYB Athletic Trainer Jayson Castor!

Athletic trainer Jayson Castor has joined IYB to help run IYBody, a fitness camp this summer. Jayson comes from a life of basketball, among other sports. In addition to performance driven functional training, Jayson is also certified in injury prevention, core strength, weight loss, and nutrition.

Jayson Castor's training philosophy is simple: to improve sports performance through increased power, endurance, and agility. To help you set realistic, specific, and attainable goals, and to elevate body mechanics to make sure of proper posture and exercise efficiency.

It's a huge day for the IYB and UCLA guard, number 5, Kyle Anderson! The 2014 NBA Draft is here!

Kyle began his IYB training in the 8th grade when he worked out with Kent and the IYB staff. The day has finally come! Tonight, 7PM on ESPN, the 2014 NBA Draft will take place, and everyone here at IYB wishes Kyle Anderson the best of luck!

The sky seeded fourth going into the playoffs, with their best game coming on April 27th when they defeated second seeded Glen Rock, 38-12.

Nick Koch down...but not out!

IYB youngster Nick Koch has been sidelined from action six weeks with a broken wrist. Nick believes he will come back not only stronger than ever...but hungrier than ever.

Here at the IYB family, we wish Nick nothing but a speedy recover back to the court where he belongs!

Coach Kent gave Nick words of encouragement recently, saying "keep your head up Nick! We are going to win it for you! Everyone is going to step up their game in your absence!"
